Sam Price & the True Believers (FUNK/ROCK/GROOVE)
Best known as a founding member of Honey Island Swamp Band and the leader of afro-cuban jazz group OTRA, bass player Sam Price formed the True Believers in December 2015 to perform original music featuring his song-writing and singing. The band plays groove-driven funk and rock featuring soulful melodies and heart-felt lyrics. Vocal harmonies over syncopated percussion are punctuated by passionate solos.
Sam Price & the True Believers seeks to celebrate life and empower peace through music, love and simple human kindness, while also speaking truth to power and encouraging everyone to stand up and move!
