Red Elvises

About Booking This Artist
Three Russians immigrated from Siberia in the winter of 1996. The Red Elvises emerged upon an unsuspecting Los Angeles rock scene shortly thereafter. Coincidence? Nyet! Founded by singer/songwriter Igor Yuzov and actor/bass-balalaika player Oleg Bernov, the group has ebbed and flowed in terms of membership - the current lineup includes American-of-Ukranian-descent Roman Dudok on saxophone and flute, American drum virtuoso Craig Pilot and a new Russian, Alex (nicknamed Sasha), on keyboards Ð but the over-the-top energy and abandon with which they present their Siberian-birthed rock 'n' roll remains a constant. Combining their extensive classical theatrical training with a huge amount of charisma, the Red Elvises' live performance is indisputably unforgettable with Russian and world ethnic music colliding headlong into reckless surf and rockabilly licks and good old rock 'n' roll attitude. In addition to a relentless tour schedule, The Red Elvises have shown their smiling faces in movies (Six-String Samurai, Mail Order Bride, Armageddon, Skippy) and on television (Melrose Place, Fastlane, Penn & Teller's Sin City Spectacular and VH-1 Behind the Music).

About Booking This Artist
Rocket 88 was one
of the top local bands in Orlando during the '90s, routinely packing out clubs
and larger venues. The group's raw rockabilly sound caused a ruckus on dance floors
around town. Due to musical differences, the band broke up. After a hiatus of
several years, the original Rocket 88 is back and ready to play again, presenting
their signature brand of swingin' campy rockabilly to the delight of hepcats and
kittys throughout Central Florida.

About Booking This Artist
Rock and Roll isn't dead,
and won't be as long as the Downshifters exist. Combining searing guitar, an upright
bass and machine gun drumming, these guys play the kind of music mothers warn
their daughters about. Inspired by everything from Social Distortion and Johnny
Cash to a 327 with a high-rise intake and chrome sidepipes. There's never a dull
moment when the Downshifters hit the stage.

About Booking This Artist
Comprised of two ex-Air
Force servicemen plus one guy that apparently watches too much History Channel,
this trio plays country-informed rockabilly - "honkytonkabilly," the band calls
it - with the occasional garage/punkish outburst. Minimalist drumkit, upright
bass and a twangin' Telecaster yields a big sound with a small footprint.
